Description
The course begins at 8:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Participants should arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.
Government-issued photo ID must be presented for entry to the course.
Developed by Energy Safety Canada, this course is designed for those responsible for the planning, entry, monitoring, and supervising of confined space activities.

Course Objectives
- Understand confined space legislation, roles and responsibilities
- Identify risks and hazards of confined spaces
- Plan hazard controls and emergency response
- Permits, signage and tagging
- Atmospheric testing
Duration
The course is 8 hours long and includes a mandatory written theory test (English only).
Participants must achieve a minimum of 70% to receive a certificate.
Certificate
Your Energy Safety Canada ticket will be issued in class and is valid for 3 years.
