Shawn Hazen founded Haztech in 2006 at the age of 22 and has continued to be active as President & CEO of Haztech. As a Saskatchewan born and raised native, having worked across Canada, Shawn takes great pride in Haztech being an industry leader in the industrial, construction, oilfield and mining sectors now spanning across North America.

I started in a windowless basement cold-room, to then eventually occupying the family office. The same office that 38 years ago my mother carried me into her office in a bassinet the day after I was born… the same office I witnessed what work ethic was from watching my mother & father build their companies… the same office where I picked up my first broom at 12 and swept the same shop floors. I’m grateful to still watch Haztech evolve today as our headquarters in Regina, SK.
We’ve grown considerably over the years thanks to our team of dedicated professionals across Canada which has led to multiple acquisitions including our North American expansion into the USA this year. Again, fueled by so many rock-stars I am grateful to have as part of our team."
Outside of the office Shawn can be found with his two sons Zander (10) and Rocco (6) sporting the families passion for health, fitness and outdoor adventures.
