Oxygen Therapy & Airway Management

The course begins at 8:30 am unless otherwise noted. Participants should arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. This class is a stand-alone course or added to the BLS.

 

OXYGEN THERAPY COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is recommended for participants who may need to administer oxygen either working in-facility or health care providers (nursing, care aides, dental industry, medical offices etc.), pre-hospital care groups (fire departments, rescue teams, sports therapists, lifeguards, SCUBA divers, ski patrol, etc.). 

 

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Students will be trained as professionals in the administration of oxygen.
  • Students will have the ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills.
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course.

 

DURATION: 1-2 hours 

 

CERTIFICATE:

All participants who successfully complete this program and achieve a 75% or higher on their exam will receive a Red Cross Certificate of Completion in Oxygen Therapy which is valid for 3 years.

 

COST: $50 + GST
