Description
This ATV Rider’s course is an 8-hour (1 day) training program delivered by our Canadian Safety Council (CSC) certified instructors.
The curriculum, which is based on field-tested techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper ATV operation.
Course Objectives
The rider learns about starting and stopping, controls, riding terrain, turning, climbing hills, riding over obstacles, and emergency stopping and swerving; as well as the requirements for classes attended by children under the age of 16.
This course will increase your awareness and skills, identify your abilities, and your ATV capabilities, introduce you to strategies to identify and manage risks.
- The course is available for students of all ages. (If there are any students under 16, the maximum class size is 6. If there are students under 12, the maximum class size is 4.)
- Employers are advised not to send injured employees who are unable to perform required exercises to pass the course.
You will need:
- Appropriate clothing is required - long pants and shirt, ankle boots, gloves, helmet, and goggles.
- Students are responsible for supplying their own ATV.
