Description

Due to the wide variety of certifications and recertifications available in this discipline, this course is not available on a regularly scheduled basis.

Using mobile elevated work platforms outside of the manufacturer's recommended parameters or exceeding the limit capacities will result in equipment failure that could have fatal results.

Applying the procedures learned in the elevated work platform training will eliminate the risk of any accidental injury or property damage associated with elevated work platforms.

Your MEWP ticket is valid for (3) years.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the OH&S regulations as they pertain to mobile elevated work platforms
  • Recognize elevated work platform hazards
  • Know the proper procedures for inspecting equipment and the work site
  • Learn safe operating techniques for elevated work platforms
  • Understand refuelling and maintenance procedures​

Duration

The duration of the MEWP course is 8 hours and includes a mandatory written theory test, skills practice and operator performance evaluation.

Cancellations can be made by calling (306) 352-9114 ext.1 or emailing training@haztech.com. 24 Hours Before Course – Full Refund Cancellation of a scheduled training session at least 24 hours before the start time will receive a full refund or your registration can be transferred to another course. 12 Hours Before Course – Credit Cancellation of a scheduled training session at least 12 hours (and less than 24 hours) before the start time will be issued a credit towards a future course (no cash value). Less than 12 Hours Before Course – No refund or credit. Cancellations of a scheduled training session less than 12 hours before the start time will NOT be issued a credit or a refund. Students who withdraw after commencing class or who fail to attend classes without notification will NOT be issued a refund or a credit.
