Nurse Practitioners, Cardiac – Houston

Job Description

As the leader of the mobile cardiac testing team, the Nurse Practitioners are responsible for managing the EMT and cardiac sonographer, conducting patient assessments and evaluations and consulting with the cardiac sonographer and the offsite cardiologist

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate
  • International Trauma Life Support or Trauma Nursing Core Course certificate
  • Standard First Aid CPR-HCP

Nurse Practitioner – Washington

NURSE PRACTITIONERS, are you looking for a unique opportunity where you can make great money?! Haztech has a fantastic 2-month contract on an industrial site in Washington state, commencing at the beginning of September and we are looking for four Nurse Practitioners to work full-time and two for per diem coverage.

Job Details

The NP’s will work 12-hour shifts (days & nights) on a rotational basis, so there is a fantastic opportunity for overtime pay! Travel, meals, and accommodations are covered by Haztech!

Please note that two common industrial schedules are 3 days on and 3 days off OR 7 days on and days day off, but we will determine the schedule that aligns with the availability and
needs to the successful candidates.

The full-time NPs will work the rotational schedule and
the casual NPs are working per diem, on an “as needed” basis.

Job Description

As a member of Haztech’s Advanced Life Support (ALS) team, you will be responsible to assess / treat patients’ healthcare needs. You will work independently, and administer nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent, and disabled patients. Your wealth of knowledge will be relied upon to advise patients on their healthcare maintenance, disease prevention and/or provide occupational health case management. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company while providing a safe and positive work environment.

Haztech’s team in Houston & New Orleans are rolling out one-of-a-kind mobile Cardiac services, utilizing TOP OF THE LINE sonography equipment and we are on the hunt for driven and dynamic Cardiac Sonographers to join our cardiac team! Bonus if you have Vascular experience with RVT.

Please note that this role will require up to 50% overnight travel. All expenses are paid by Haztech when traveling for work.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

  • Graduate of a reputable Cardiac Sonography program
  • Two (2) or more years of experience post internship/externship preferred
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonography
    (RCS)
  • Bonus if you have current RVT or are qualified to take the RVT
  • Current Certification in BLS required
  • Must be capable of recognizing normal anatomy and physiology vs abnormal pathology
  • Ample experience in performing complete transthoracic echocardiograms with
    doppler
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal
    supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and/or regionally
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

As a member of Haztech’s Security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of people, property, and the environment in assigned areas through vehicle and foot patrols. In this role, you will respond to any complaints or issues, deescalate situations, use judgment, and deal with the public in a friendly and professional manner. You will be required to provide detailed documentation in compliance with the site’s Health and Safety

Key Accountabilities

Emergency Medical Technician – Houston

Role Description:

The duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Open, prepare and close the testing facility each day
  • Schedule appointments by telephone, email and in-person
  • Answer incoming calls, manage walk-ins, and take payments
  • Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples
  • Handle sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings
  • Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids, and samples according to safety instructions
  • Record all data and results in specified forms with accuracy and responsibility
  • Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
