An 8-hour course to learn starting, stopping, turning, climbing hills, riding over obstacles, and emergency stopping. Canadian Safety Council instructors teach how to safely enjoy off-roading and trail riding on an ATV and UTV. All ages.
This course involves the identification of confined spaces and hazard identification, evaluation, and control. The course reinforces the need for proper pre-planning procedures and provides rescue methods should the confined space worker be in peril.
Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Participants will learn and demonstrate all knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing care, including the transportation of a patient to a healthcare facility.
Monday - Friday (2 week duration)
A comprehensive 40-hour refresher course is done typically in 5 days of in-class work. Students will review and demonstrate their knowledge and skills required to provide patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing care including transportation to a health care facility.
